composer and DJ, Celeste Lear.

Celeste Lear, Boutique XR founder, is an immersive experience producer/designer, VR artist and music director/composer with two decades of dedication to advancing both technical innovation and immersive artistic design in the entertainment and event industries. She specializes in conceptualizing and turning out cutting-edge concerts, conferences, high-tech immersive art installations, and events—both physical and virtual—utilizing some of the world’s most advanced technologies. Celeste and her various teams have logged thousands of hours building 3D environments with festival-style stages and stunning VFX, incorporating holograms/holoportation, volumetric capture, spatial computing, and pioneering gamification techniques to deliver compelling experiences across a range of platforms. She has collaborated with leading extended reality pioneers on groundbreaking projects, including interactive music videos, virtual concerts, AR installations, architectural video mapping and VR events. Skilled in the rapidly growing field of Virtual Production, Celeste has contributed to several feature films and live broadcasts in Hollywood utilizing LED Volumes. As a passionate activist around sustainability, she co-founded ActNow XR, which has developed several critically acclaimed, high-tech educational installations for the United Nations in support of the Sustainable Development Goals.

Celeste is currently working as an executive producer, immersive experience designer & music/sound director on a pioneering new metaverse event series, the ACTNOW XR Experience in coordination with the United Nations, DreamlandXR, MetaCities & Millennium Art.

Boutique XR also assisted in co-producing with DreamlandXR & Chicken Waffle VR, the first ever Virtual Reality Consumer Electronics Show (CES) complete with a 3D virtual conference hall, Vegas Style lobby with virtual trade booths, a red carpet area, full “in game” video production team, a sleek after hours style nightclub with Insomniac Events talent, “The Cheat Codes” who performed on stage as avatars for the first time ever. Celeste also hosted a fun “World Crawl” through 3 amazing experiences including taking 100+ avatar attendees “Ice Skating in VR” to music from a live set by DJ Skee!

MUSIC & SOUND COmposition, DIRECTION & Clearance

With sound engineer & composer Celeste Lear at the helm, Boutique XR has provided executive music direction & supervision for multiple international, large scale, high tech multi-media installation projects and have worked to provide expert music production, sound design, music curation, sound engineering & asset clearance with clients such as,

United Nations, UNESCO, Smithsonian, Google, Data Bricks, Cisco, Fox TV, HBO, Millennium Art, DreamlandXR, MetaCities, Obscura Digital, Microsoft’s AltSpaceVR, WaveVR, Autodesk & Millennium Art.

Our most noteworthy project to date was UNESCO's 70th year anniversary celebration where we worked with Obscura Digital & Millennium Art to produce music for a high tech, video mapping projection experience that was projected onto the side of UNESCO's Paris headquarters for a 7 day run and included a 20 minute rotating show with UNESCO / Smithsonian archive custom remixes, select speech excerpts and unique world music inspired sound design (see below).


Celeste also produced 45 minutes of ambient world music compositions consisting of "remixed" Smithsonian field recordings for an interactive, educational touch screen computer that was installed in UNESCO’s Paris headquarter’s lobby. 

Boutique XR also worked with United Nations and the World Food Program to provide music clearance & sound design on a cutting edge Augmented Reality installation that was on display in UN headquarters in NYC in winter of 2018.
